          Personal Statement
Dr. Janine Pardo is a Board Certified Internist, Primary Care Physician, and a Preventive Care and Wellness expert. She is the Medical Director of Steward Medical Group - Weston Internal Medicine and Wellness Center, and a team physician for the Boston Ballet and the Boston Cannons professional men's lacrosse team. Dr. Pardo believes that Primary Care should not simply be focused on treating illnesses, but instead should be centered on helping patients thrive. She takes a comprehensive approach to healthcare, focusing on the total mental and physical well-being of each patient. She empowers her patients to explore and understand their current health and future risks by partnering with them in the healthcare process. She works with individuals to customize treatment and prevention plans based on his or her unique characteristics, personal history, and family background, and by emphasizing lifestyle strategies. She believes in addressing the root causes of patients' conditions - not just suppressing their symptoms. She enjoys working with patients age 18-75 who are interested in restoring or optimizing their health and improving their self-care. The Wellness Center offers enhanced services in Nutrition, Psychology, Sports Medicine / Physiatry, Yoga, Meditation, Mindfulness, Personal Training / Exercise Coaching, Therapeutic Massage, Wellness Coaching and more to provide patients with the additional resources they need to thrive.
