Dr. Dallin DeMordaunt joins Davis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine from a successful orthopedic practice in Reno, Nevada. He is trained and board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as sports medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine. Dr. DeMordaunt specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal and nerve injuries. Dr. DeMordaunt earned his bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University (Cum Laude) and then received his medical degree from The George Washington School of Medicine. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. During his training Dr. DeMordaunt served as vice-chief and junior chief resident. He was also awarded the Clinical Excellence Award and Academic Achievement Award. Dr. DeMordaunt specializes in: Non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal and nerve injuries Sports medicine Interventional spine and pain procedures Ultrasound guided peripheral injections Electrodiagnostic testing (EMG) for nerve injuries He has a keen interest in sports medicine and concussion management. He has worked as a ringside physician for the National Kickboxing Championships and was a team physician at Virginia Commonwealth University. As an assistant clinical professor, Dr. DeMordaunt helped train the sports medicine fellows and primary care residents for the University of Nevada School of Medicine. In his leisure time Dr. DeMordaunt enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He can be found enjoying a variety of outdoor activities including tennis, hiking, swimming and skiing.
